My newest thrift store purchase, these two adorable hand sewn quilted.....doilys (doilies?) I think? They probably have some techncial quilting name, but I'm not going to find out.
They got my thinking about quilts, and although I'm not a fan of most of the traditional quilts out there - mostly because of the heinous quilt fabric choices - I do appreciate geometry. I think I could see myself trying to make something like this, the Single Girl pattern from Denyse Schmidt.
